Photography

My photo collection falls into categories of floral macro, food photography, landscape, and my daughter.

I love plants and flowers, and in my youth, I even considered becoming a horticulturist. Scenes with good colour, interesting shape and texture are a major influence when I photograph. I am drawn to take pictures at a macro level and truly appreciate the beauty up close; not only the whole, but the individual parts that make the whole. As a foodie, I enjoy cooking and taking pictures of food. There is joy in my heart when I take images that I like. Taking pictures at a macro level has a meditative effect on me. It seems that time stands still.
